On anecdotes

After rereading last week’s blog posts, I realized that I used the word “anecdote” in the last three posts.  Wikipedia says that an anecdote is a “short and amusing or interesting story about a real incedent or person.”  It is related to the bon mot.  Anecdotal evidence is not permissable in a court of law unless it is verified, in which case it becomes testimony.  An anecdote is not scientific.  It is also not a joke because its purpose is philosophical in nature.

Not to get all Lacanian, but what does this say about my (sub)conscious desires regarding this blog?
